INSPIRED Tokyo is a community space I created to feature and share the voices and works of inspirational international female creators/entrepreneurs I have met here in Tokyo.
These women have inspired me by teaching me how to feel fulfilled in my life through pursuing their own passions and making them into their careers.
They have taught me the beauty of continuing to set challenges for myself and learn new things every single day, no matter where, how busy, or how old you are.
INSPIRED Tokyo is about supporting these women by promoting and sharing their works, talents, knowledge, and lifestyle with the women of Japan.
This community serves as a door to broaden the horizons of both foreign creators and Japanese women and as a bridge to connect them.

INSPIRED Tokyo supports female international creators/small business owners/ entrepreneurs based in Tokyo who wish to localize their businesses and widen their market in Japan. INSPIRED Tokyo offers consultation, marketing and promotional resources, and translation services and helps coordinate events and workshops. Please contact for pricing and details.
About Saya:
-Founder of INSPIRED Tokyo.
- Small business consultant/ translator / interpreter /event coordinator
- Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.
-Spent high school and college in the U.S. (1985-1994)
-Exchange student in France (1994)
-Expat wife in Taiwan and U.S. (2001 - 2018)
I enjoy communicating with people of different backgrounds and learning about various cultures, and ways of living.
I love yoga, home designing, making fermented food, and watercolor journaling.
I am also a wife to a very supportive husband and a mother of two beautiful daughters and an irresistibly cute dog.
